With the help of Reed or Hall sensors, the rotations are checked or queried in countless applications. Either it is about counting the number of rotations or in general to check if a rotation is taking place.
This includes applications such as speed measurement in e-bikes, bicycles or motorcycles as well as monitoring the rotation/revolution of a spray arm in a dishwasher.

Contactless switching – activation of a smoke detector
The magnet is installed in the fixed component of the smoke detector. The smoke detector is activated by turning the housing in which the Reed switch is installed until the switch and magnet are above each other.
Vehicles in general
Sensor technology from masetec is used for example for level monitoring of all kinds of liquid tanks. Our sensor technology supports for example the position detection of door locks, glove compartments or brake pedals. Special sensors ensure the position detection of tank caps or safety belts. masetec sensors can also be used in limit switches for the window position. Among others, sensors of the MMS-1, MMS-2 and MMS-4 series are used.
E-bikes/scooters and motorcycles
Sensor technology for rotation detection of masetec is suitable for measuring the number of revolutions of the wheels (for speed determination). Position sensors enable the detection of the stand, e.g. tubular sensors of the MMS-2 series are used.
